Running Assessments

A running assessment is a one-on-one experience that includes a subjective evaluation of the patient’s current mileage, shoes, alternative exercise, and goals, etc, as well as scientific testing of the following:

Strength, Flexibility,  Functionality,  Gait Analysis

It is important that we test the above for injury prevention/treatment because it gives us a comprehensive understanding of the patient’s biomechanics (the way the person moves) as well as a guideline to any asymmetries or weaknesses. The video analysis of the athlete running on a treadmill uses a technology where the therapist can slow-mo footage and the findings can be explained in detail to each individual. Together we will discuss changes that need to be made and the therapist will assist with verbal cues.

This assessment is suitable for individuals 12+.
